My mother got a digital camera for Christmas. So, whenever the weather is nice and the sun is out I'll be taking pictures of some of my better art pieces I've done over the past semester.
First semester of my senior year is just about over. I'll be saying bye to Art III and yes to Art IV. I hope that class goes well. However, it'll be too late for any kind of additions to my art portfolio. I also hope that they don't expect TOO much from us students, because I know a lot of people have AP classes they need to study for.
I truthfully am very scared about getting into college. I've slacked off a whole lot with my applications, and fear that I have competely missed any kind of chance of sending anything to Appalachian State for admissions. I've only applied to North Carolina State University. I'm trying to get into their Art and Design program. It's extremely selective though. I believe only about 10% of the applicants get in.
I've made it past the first two tiers in the admissions process. I have the third and final one on the 31st of this month. I have to travel over to the campus, and present my portfolio infront of some admissions officials (I don't know if they're professors or not), talk about all my pieces, and answer their strange questions (I hear they ask you really strange and artsy questions).
I'm really really really nervous about it. I hope I get in. If I don't.... man. I'm not sure what I'll really do @_@.
But, college might end up being a challenge. However, it might end up not being, who knows? I do hope that the rest of this year isn't a challenge as well.
Keep me in your prayers or thoughts.
My best to all of you out there!
